Our team of engineering students at North Dakota State University designed and built a snowmobile trail grooming packer pan. The device uses hydraulic pressure and leaf springs to compact snow, creating a smooth trail for snowmobilers. We worked with a local snowmobile club to ensure the device was safe and effective in extreme weather conditions.
